May I introduce you to Serena? She lives on a limited income, works a full-time job, and is a great mom and wife. On weeknights and weekends, she works her side hustle. She lives tired but, ever the optimist, she never quits. Serena is an underestimated and underserved minority entrepreneur. She faces significantly more barriers than most, like:
· Limited access to capital
· Limited networking opportunities
· Education and skill gaps
· Lack of role models and mentors
Your gift today will provide training, coaching, and funding for Serena and many like her, who build community and enhance economic viability right here in Thomasville.

Can I share our need with you? In order to meet our 2024 budget shortfall and land ready to serve in 2025, Spark Thomasville needs $100,000. Some faithful supporters have stepped forward with lead gifts of $70,000. This puts us at 70% of our goal. Will you help us raise the last $30,000?
I know you don’t want this shortage of funds to get in the way of helping the underestimated-underserved entrepreneurs who need our help.

So, I am boldly asking you to please send in a special gift to erase the shortfall and position us to land in 2025 poised to help Thomasville’s underestimated-underserved entrepreneurs. Spark Thomasville relies on supporters like you. Much of our funds come from big-hearted individuals like you who believe in what we do.
Let me share what is at risk. If Serena and many more like her don’t get the help they need:
· They will continue to grapple with insecurity
· The issues their businesses address will remain unresolved
· Generational wealth will not be created
· Cycles of generational poverty will persist
· Tax revenues will not be generated
· Money that could stay in Thomasville will leave
To meet our goal, we will need to receive many gifts of $25, $50, $100, and $500. We will need some $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, and $10,000 gifts. We will also need a few gifts even larger. Your gift matters supremely.
